Our client, a well-established community bank in Southwest Houston, is seeking a Senior Loan Operations Manager to lead and optimize their loan servicing operations. This is a key leadership position responsible for ensuring smooth, compliant, and efficient processing of all loan activities across the bank's commercial and consumer lending portfolios.
Job duties include:
  • Lead a dedicated loan operations team, overseeing daily processing, servicing, and reporting tasks
  • Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal policies across all loan types
  • Coordinate with compliance, audit, and executive teams to support examinations and reporting
  • Streamline procedures and recommend improvements to operational workflows
  • Manage escrow accounts, documentation tracking, and system maintenance
  • Provide mentorship and training to team members while fostering a culture of accountability and service

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in banking, with at least 5 years in a management role within loan operations
  • Expertise in commercial and consumer loan servicing, including participations
  • Working knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices
  • Experience with core banking platforms such as Fiserv Premier and Barclays preferred
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively across departments and levels
